The company gave us an over the phone estimate of 1475,
took a deposit of 285$. When the movers got to my house, the first thing he said was "that coffee table is not a coffee table, it will cost you 22$ more. that was the beginning. The price in a half hour was up to 2400$. Ok i can deal with that. the company after wrapping just the stuff in one bedroom said that they made a mistake and the price went up to 3200$. I said No get out of my house. He then refused to give us paperwork, and he had the guys pull the plastic and cardboard off (leaving it in my front yard). The worst part is, they charged us the 60% of the initial move 875$ after refunding the 285$ deposit. We are still trying to figure out how they were able to charge it legally. they never got anything on the truck and all this took place in about 2 and a half hours. how do they charge us for the wrapping and unwrapping and the 1 hour total they were actually working. I have been dealing with the manager named Ben Aviv. I had a black guy that was smoking marijuana outside and two non English speaking Mexicans in my house along with a driver that was completely unreasonable. I dont know how to get my money back.
