In 2003 we purchase an Amana washer & dryer. In the summer of 2007 the washer went out completely. It was cheaper to buy a new washer. I wrote the BBB and told them of my complaint..they were not satisfactory in producing a solution because we did not buy the warranty. Bolderdash! I should not have to buy a warranty for the product...Now this is December 23rd and our Amana dryer has gone caput! I recommend that you DO NOT BUY ANY AMANA PRODUCTS WHATSOEVER!!!THEY ARE LEMONS!!!
A washer and dryer should last for quite a few years 10-15 at least not just 3 to 4 years. So when you are in the market please check out the product you are buying...check out the manufacture also. We did...however we still got stung!!!
