after getting 5 quotes for prices on moving ,I had a offer to match lower prices if I paid cash, also he would remove snow as he also owned snow plowing business, I agreed, but was lied to. On moving daya, movers came @ noon, starting moving articles @ 12.30, but charged from 8 am..I had my son, 4 friends with trucks take all breakables of china, pictures, etc. and only had the movers take about 6 boxes in house and same for garage, after over a 2 hr wait, vendors hadn't removed articles, they backed up the truck , damaging lawn, they had left truck door open all the time, with blowing snow on furniture and mud from being stuck.After move, they asked for cash, but gave me a receipt stating paid by check and charged for a extra 4 hrs, and I had to sign a slip saying I had inspected furniture and I refused as I wasn't satisfied, they said they were loading up things and I would be paying 6 times as much, so I signed, they didn't assemble furniture ,just dumped it damaged in corner. I phoned Terry Joyes , the owner and he took 5 days calling me back , saying it was too late to collect damages for articles as ins. had run out,I asked for a proper receipt and a refund for overcharged, he got angry, told me, he was sending someone over to fix me, and I started having dozens of incidents of vandalism on house , yard, personal property, like auto. I called police, who told me it is a civil case, I notified BBB, and they did nothing, after me insisting for over a yr. they posted a notice of a complaint, but not in detail, and then said it had been settled, not true, my son e-mailed for a receipt, as I couldn't , they had smashed all my computer equipment, he then challenged my son to come over and show what a big man he was , again I got harrassed for over a yr. finally police got involved, I still , after 5 yrs. have gotten nothing fixed, every piece of furniture I own is damaged, and many boxes were missing, I also got many calls from him, saying, he was sending over 2 men, I needed some ins. that something may happen to me or my property..If any one has had any similar incidents, please contact me, freele@porchlight.ca..Thank You Since first posting this, I have received 4 e-mails from the owner of A-Zip, telling me to ---- off, that Squeaky Wheel and myself were whacked, that he was calling lawyers, authorities, etc, but still no offer to observe damages or to pay for repairs, give back missing boxes, or refund overcharges, or to give a proper receipt.. Good Service??? And threatening a disabled elderly woman??? Anyone who has any suggestions of similar situations may contact me @ freele@porchlight.ca....Thank You..Marion Smith
